Help create a clean, comfortable environment where recovery can begin.

Looking for meaningful work close to home? Join the team at The Recovery Village Umatilla, where the work you do every day helps create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for individuals receiving addiction and mental health treatment. If you take pride in your work, enjoy staying active, and want to be part of a team that makes a difference, we’d love to meet you!

Description

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and appearance of our treatment facility. From refreshing floors and cleaning common areas to maintaining linen supplies, your work helps create a positive environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Located in Umatilla, Florida, The Recovery Village provides evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Our mission is to deliver patient-centered care in an environment that empowers individuals on their path to recovery. Every team member contributes to that mission, and your attention to detail helps make our facility a place where people can focus on healing.

What you’ll do:

  • Clean assigned areas according to established schedules and facility standards.
  • Scrub, strip, and refinish hard-surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets; and remove carpet spots as needed.
  • Maintain clean, comfortable patient rooms and welcoming public spaces.
  • Manage and distribute linen supplies and assist with room or area setups for special functions.
  • Respond to spills and other immediate cleaning needs while following established safety and infection-control procedures.
  • Keep housekeeping equipment, tools, and supplies clean and in good working condition.
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or facility issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, adapt to changing priorities, and help maintain a respectful, professional environment.

About Our Organization

This position supports one of the trusted behavioral health programs within the Advanced Recovery Systems family. Advanced Recovery Systems is the parent organization of The Recovery Village, Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch. Together, these established treatment brands share a commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care.

While you’ll primarily support The Recovery Village Umatilla, you’ll be part of a larger, growing organization focused on improving patient outcomes, supporting employees, and strengthening the communities we serve.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating clean, organized spaces and understands that a welcoming environment matters in patient care.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred, particularly in a healthcare or similar setting; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are also valued.
  • Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment, including vacuums, mops, and floor-care equipment, or learn to use it safely.
  • Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, cleaning protocols, infection prevention, universal precautions, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Professional communication skills and a commitment to patient confidentiality, workplace safety, and organizational policies.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, reaching, bending, stooping, and moving furniture.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing assignments and maintain a calm, professional approach in a healthcare environment.

Benefits

We believe supporting our employees is an important part of supporting the people in our care. Eligible full-time employees have access to a comprehensive benefits program designed to support health, financial security, and overall well-being.

  • Medical insurance: Multiple medical plan options to help you choose coverage that fits your needs and budget.
  • Dental and vision insurance: Optional coverage to support your oral health and eye care.
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance: Basic coverage provided at no cost to eligible full-time employees.
  • Retirement savings: A 401(k) plan with a company match of 50% of the first 4% of your contributions, subject to plan terms and vesting requirements.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA): Eligible employees enrolled in a qualifying high-deductible health plan can receive a company contribution match, subject to plan limits.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
