Demonstrates a high level of competency in the use of IT applications e.g. Microsoft Office and Web based systems, email, and Google docs.

Ability to help learners to transfer their employability skills to other parts of their lives

Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively work in partnership with college staff, students, and employers.

The ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information and situations with diplomacy, discretion, and tact

Empathy with young people facing barriers to their learning.

Experience of monitoring and assessing learner progress in ways that deliver excellent outcomes

Experience of recruitment and interviewing processes and techniques

Experience of engaging/collaborating with employers and providing outstanding customer service

Experience of working in a business support environment

Experience of facilitating learning with post 16-year-old groups

Level 2 English and Maths Qualification or Equivalent

Level 3 qualification in a relevant curriculum area

Qualification or experience of Health & Safety in the Workplace

Knowledge & understanding of Health and Safety obligations in compliance with existing law and in accordance with the DFE guidance

Knowledge and understanding of the definitions of Work Experience/Placements applicable to post 16 Study Programmes, including technical levels and extended industry placements

Knowledge of post-16 curriculum qualifications

Knowledge of the Further Education sector
