About the Role

The Director of Partner Success sits at the intersection of relationship management, strategic growth, and team leadership. You will own a portfolio of high-value partner relationships while simultaneously leading a team of Senior Partner Success Managers — setting the standard for what exceptional partner experience looks like at The Suite.

Our partners are law firms, legal tech companies, and finance and fintech firms that sponsor events for The Suite's ecosystem of senior legal and finance executives. Their sponsorships span intimate dinners and local events, large-scale conferences, and digital placements across our platform — making each partnership multifaceted and high-touch by nature.

This role is for someone who can be both a hands-on partner advisor and a credible team leader — someone who thrives in a high-touch, high-accountability environment and is excited about using AI to build the infrastructure that scales it. You will be expected to model and champion an AI-forward way of working, introducing automations, tools, and agents that make your team meaningfully more effective and improve the experience for partners.

Partners expect a concierge-level experience and a counterpart who understands their world. You will be the person who makes that happen.

Responsibilities

- Directly manage a team of Senior Partner Success Managers — providing coaching, accountability, and a clear vision for what great looks like on this team

- Own your own book of business, managing a portfolio of partners end-to-end from onboarding through renewal and expansion

- Build trusted, high-touch relationships with partners — serving as their primary advisor and point of contact across their entire sponsorship experience

- Deeply understand each partner's goals and proactively align them to the right opportunities across The Suite's platform, events, and programming

- Translate partner activity into clear ROI narratives — surfacing insights, wins, and strategic value in ways that resonate with senior business leaders

- Identify and close growth opportunities including upsells, expansions, and new partnership constructs that align with partner priorities and available inventory

- Monitor partner health metrics and proactively address risk while keeping renewal and expansion pipelines consistently full

- Lead and contribute to planning, execution, and tracking of partner-focused initiatives across the business

- Champion an AI-forward operating model — building automations, agents, and internal/external-facing tooling that accelerate results, scale the team's capacity, and enhance the partner experience

The AI-forward mandate

This is where you'll have real leverage. We want someone who is excited to build agents that scale our impact; not just use AI as a writing or research assistant.

- Design and deploy partner success agents for recurring workflows

- Automate data flows between Hubspot, Airtable, DocSend, Gmail, and more

- Continuously improve and expand the agent stack as the business grows and new needs emerge

- Document your agents and workflows so the whole team can understand and maintain them

Qualifications

- Proven experience in enterprise customer or partner success, with a track record of managing complex, high-value relationships at a senior level

- Experience managing or mentoring team members, with a natural instinct for developing people and holding high standards

- Background working with partners or clients where in-person events, sponsorships, or experiential programming were a meaningful component of the relationship

- Demonstrated ability to learn and deeply understand partner goals; bonus points for having previously worked with professionals in legal or finance

- Demonstrated ability to lead or meaningfully contribute to AI-focused initiatives — whether building automations, deploying agents, or driving adoption of AI tools within a team

- Strong commercial instincts — comfortable identifying upsell and expansion opportunities and driving them to close

- Exceptional communicator who can distill complex activity into executive-ready insights and build genuine rapport with senior stakeholders

- Highly organized and data-oriented, with a habit of monitoring partner health metrics and acting on signals proactively

About The Suite

We are a team of ~80 of the world’s greatest community builders and technologists.

We build high-quality and highly-curated professional communities. We run two of these communities today, including our flagship The L Suite http://www.lsuite.co / TechGC http://www.techgc.co, which is a private, invite-only community for General Counsels / Chief Legal Officers and their teams at high-growth tech companies and venture funds, and The F Suite https://www.fsuite.co, which is a private, invite-only community for Chief Financial Officers and their teams.

We currently have 5,000+ active members across our communities, representing C-Suite executives and their deputies from most of today’s leading tech companies (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Airbnb, Slack, Coinbase, Uber, Notion, Bolt, Figma, Airtable, Dropbox, Bilt, Datadog, etc.) and venture funds (e.g., a16z, Softbank, Tiger, Accel, Thrive, Battery Ventures, FirstMark, Kleiner Perkins, Insight, etc.).

Each of our communities is unique, but they are all underpinned by our custom-built member platform - the Braintrust. The Braintrust has rapidly emerged as the next evolution of the professional community platform, powering real-time conversations with the right peers at the right time as well as personalized research, insights, and strategies. The Braintrust is one of the strategic pillars supporting our mission to help today’s business leaders excel in their jobs with better and faster answers to their most pressing challenges.

We are a well-funded, profitable, and rapidly scaling startup with a high-impact team.

What Makes Us Unique

We fill a painful hole in the market at an unprecedented time in history. As executives are being pressured to master AI and “do more with less” while at the same time navigating an increasingly complex business environment, the right information and perspective has become harder and harder to find. The dominant networking platforms of the day are too broad and diluted to be effective resources, and it has become difficult to parse through the noise and misinformation to hone in on what really matters. Executives are rapidly retreating back to private, trusted communities for their information, support, and their most interesting conversations.

That’s where we come in. We connect executives to their most valuable resource - their peers - through a highly-curated collection of professional communities. In addition to attending live events, our members get access to the Braintrust, which is a comprehensive research and curated networking platform enhanced by Lloyd (our community-powered AI agent). After logging in, members are immediately connected with their closest peers, and are able to leverage their knowledge and experience for advice, service provider recommendations, benchmarking data, peer coaching/mentorship, and much more. The Braintrust also features a resource library with hundreds of educational videos, templates, and other materials from our community events.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
