  • Proactively approach companies and decision-makers to promote bakery products, corporate catering packages, and event catering services.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate clients to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, tastings, and product demonstrations as required.
  • Develop long-term relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Explore opportunities for recurring catering contracts, corporate events, meetings, conferences, and office celebrations.

2. Events & Catering Sales

  • Handle enquiries and sales for corporate events, private functions, meetings, parties, and special occasions.
  • Understand client requirements, including menus, guest numbers, budgets, delivery schedules, and service expectations.
  • Prepare customised catering proposals, menus, quotations, and packages in coordination with the kitchen team.
  • Follow up on proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed catering orders.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell bakery products, desserts, customised cakes, refreshments, and additional catering services.

3. Client & Operational Coordination

  • Act as the main point of contact between clients, management, chefs, and the operations team.
  • Ensure all client requirements are communicated accurately to the kitchen and production teams.
  • Coordinate order confirmations, quantities, delivery timings, special dietary requirements, and event logistics.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve service-related concerns professionally.
  • Follow up after events to collect feedback and develop opportunities for repeat business.

4. Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain an updated database of corporate clients, prospects, enquiries, and sales leads.
  • Track quotations, conversion rates, confirmed orders, and revenue generated.
  • Prepare regular sales pipeline reports and updates for management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for new catering packages.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on payments and outstanding invoices in coordination with the accounts team.

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Events Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in corporate sales, catering sales, hospitality sales, or event sales.
  • Experience in a bakery, catering company, restaurant, or food service business would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to generate new business, develop corporate accounts, and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to prepare quotations, proposals, and customised catering packages.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple client enquiries simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic sales reporting; CRM experience is an advantage.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
