Somos la principal organización de prevención del suicidio e intervención en crisis para juventudes LGBTQ+. Nuestra organización sin fines de lucro brinda apoyo vital las 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana, por teléfono, mensaje de texto y chat. También gestionamos la red social segura más grande del mundo para juventudes LGBTQ+ y llevamos a cabo programas innovadores de investigación, educación y defensa de sus derechos. Hemos estado salvando vidas todos los días durante más de 25 años.

¿De qué se trata la posición?

  • Crear y mantener un entorno seguro para cada integrante del equipo, promoviendo la inclusión y la diversidad como parte integral de la cultura organizacional.
  • Proporcionar asesoramiento de intervención en crisis a juventudes LGBTQ+ de todo el país a través de nuestros servicios de crisis, creando un ambiente seguro y empático para expresar sus preocupaciones.
  • Generar confianza y establecer un espacio seguro que permita a las juventudes explorar temas sensibles como la sexualidad, la identidad de género e ideación suicida.
  • Comprometerse simultáneamente con múltiples juventudes a través de nuestra plataforma de chat y texto, proporcionando apoyo individualizado y respuestas relevantes.
  • Asegurarse de cumplir y ayudar a voluntarixs y estudiantes a que se sigan los protocolos establecidos, manteniendo los estándares de calidad en la atención a las juventudes LGBTQ+ a través del monitoreo en tiempo real de conversaciones.

Requisitos

  • Licenciatura en psicología, trabajo social, consejería, salud mental u otro campo relacionado. En algunos casos, la experiencia y la capacitación relevante pueden compensar
  • Excelente dominio de la ortografía, gramática y redacción, con la capacidad de comunicarse de manera efectiva y escribir textos claros y coherentes.
  • Sensibilidad a los problemas y desafíos que enfrentan las juventudes LGBTQ+ en crisis.
  • Capacidad para manejar múltiples tareas y situaciones de alta presión.
  • Compromiso con la formación continua y la adhesión a protocolos de intervención.
  • Capacidad de adaptarse a horarios variables y responder a las necesidades cambiantes de la organización.
