About the role

As Project Implementation & Test Lead, you’ll take ownership of projects designed to improve fulfilment capacity, efficiency and accuracy, as well as enhance the customer journey. You’ll help build the case for change, take projects through approval and implementation, and make sure new solutions have been thoroughly tested before they move into BAU.

Reporting to the Senior Fulfilment Development Manager, you’ll also lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing across multiple projects within our Business Change portfolio, becoming a key point of contact for testing expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll work across project delivery and testing, connecting operational requirements with technical solutions and ensuring change delivers the intended outcome.

You’ll:

  • Build clear cases for change, completing upfront analysis and supporting projects through investment approval.
  • Lead the delivery of fulfilment change projects through to implementation, handover and post-implementation review.
  • Identify project risks and issues early and put effective mitigating actions in place.
  • Develop testing strategies, plans, scripts, acceptance criteria and go/no-go definitions.
  • Lead User Acceptance and regression testing, managing results, defects and their potential impact.
  • Bring operational and technical stakeholders together to support successful implementation and transition into BAU.
  • Communicate project and testing progress clearly, from initial purpose through to implementation and closure.

About you

We’re looking for someone who can combine strong project delivery skills with a structured approach to testing.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience delivering projects and an understanding of project management methodologies, risks and mitigation.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex or technical issues simply.
  • Experience testing core systems, ideally within a large-scale automated logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Good knowledge of system, regression and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Experience working with technical, operational and project stakeholders.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively, identify differences between expected and actual system behaviour, and recommend solutions.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships internally and with external suppliers.
  • Experience with KNAPP WCS/WMS, Dürkopp, SOAPUI or AWS would be particularly relevant to the technical testing aspects of the role.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
