IN A NUTSHELL, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR...

  • Full P&L ownership and Account Management of the commercial strategy for Booker, Co-Op Wholesale, Spar, Symbols, Forecourts & B2B
  • Leading JBP negotiations where necessary
  • Develop engaged relationships with your customer counterparts
  • Implement engaging and interactive activations across key customer touchpoints, both at depot level and store, to enhance brand presence and customer satisfaction
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities across your remit
  • Represent Vita Coco at channel tradeshows and events helping to gain leads and elevate the brand.
  • Leading on all account fronts, you will be targeting against forecasting, trade activations, ESG & overall account growth.

IN MORE DETAIL, THIS MEANS:

  • Utilising customer systems and market data to maximise our sales growth, influencing promotions, distribution and availability
  • Working with the Marketing team to bring Vita Coco alive via POS and experiences
  • Effective internal & external communication of performance, recommending specific actions where the business looks to push forward growth areas and rectify performance issues
  • Keeping track of competitor activities across your channel

The job description is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake other duties in line with their ability and the changing needs of the business.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year of experience working with Booker. Other customers within the channel preferrable but not necessary
  • Strong connections & understanding of how to win in the channel
  • A proactive and results-driven individual with a track record of driving growth in key accounts.
  • Enjoys collaborating with others, sharing expertise to elevate the team’s performance.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly, and influence leadership through presenting insights and commercial proposals
  • Strong commercial and numerical acumen
  • A passion for sales, with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • IT Literate – with advanced user ability in both MS Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint.
  • The passion to work in the food and drink industry and most importantly and last, but not least, a love of coconut water!
