The posting

Company Description

We’re coming to Papamoa!

There’s something pretty cool about opening a brand-new store. New team, new customers, new beginnings, and the chance to create something great from day one.

Noel Leeming is growing, and our new Papamoa store is part of that next chapter. Across The Warehouse Group, we’re investing back into our stores and opening in communities where we see real opportunity.

And Papamoa is one of them.

We’re really excited to become part of the local community, and now we’re looking for the people who’ll help bring the store to life.

This isn’t just about joining an existing team. You’ll be helping build one. You’ll be there for the lead-up, the doors opening for the first time, and all those early moments that turn a new store into a great local store.

If you love technology, enjoy helping people, and like the idea of being able to say“I was there when we opened”, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Description

Noel Leeming delivers the best in technology and appliances but it isn't just about the products – it's about the service. That's where our passionate experts come in, and you could be the next key player in our success story!

As a Store Manager, you'll be at the helm, guiding all aspects of your store to greatness. From leading your awesome team to delighting customers, managing finances, rocking marketing strategies, and ensuring eye-catching visual merchandising – it's all in a day's work for you!

But as much as it's about hitting targets – it's about bringing technology to life for our customers. Your role is to inspire and motivate your team to go above and beyond, sparking imaginations through expert advice, educational experiences, and live demonstrations.

Our team is as diverse as the products we offer, and together, we provide a full end-to-end service to our customers. From the moment they walk in the door to the delivery, set-up, and support in their homes – we've got it covered.

So, if you're ready to dive into the exciting world of technology, customer service, and team leadership, then we'd love to hear from you!

The days of work are going to be Tuesday to Saturday, hours to be discussed.

Qualifications

We need someone who is passionate about technology, our products and what we do. Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities would be something that comes easy to you and you pride yourself on your coaching and leadership skills.

You will already be commercially savvy and demonstrate a good understanding of retail and what drives business performance. We're looking for someone with an outgoing and friendly personality and who believes that service and relationship building with customers is key.

Ideally you will have:

  • Proven management experience, and significant retail experience
  • The skills to recruit, motivate, coach and develop team members to help them achieve success
  • Strong communication ability to positively influence and engage with your team and customers
  • Competence in all aspects of store operations, including merchandising, budgets, executing plans, reporting and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Resilience and adaptability, to drive change.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
