Are you a passionate, reflective and ambitious teacher who believes every child deserves an excellent education?

The Welldon Park Academy, part of The Pegasus Partnership Trust, is a welcoming and ambitious two-form-entry primary school. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 teacher to join our team from January 2027, or earlier if possible.

We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who share our high expectations and commitment to providing the very best opportunities for every child.

Is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning, with a strong understanding of effective classroom practice.

Understands the importance of early reading, phonics, writing and mathematics in building strong foundations in Year 1.

Creates a positive, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, happy and ready to learn.

Is reflective, open to feedback and committed to continually developing their teaching.

Works collaboratively with colleagues and builds positive relationships with children and families.

Brings enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine commitment to making a difference.
