Bring your expertise to the forefront as you contribute to the efficiency, safety, and success of our open pit mining operations.

THE COMPANY

In this pivotal role, you will be a key player in our open pit operations, focusing on maximizing efficiency and safety. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you will engage in mine planning, production scheduling, and operational optimization. Your role will encompass surveying, pit design, and equipment coordination to ensure smooth and efficient mining processes.

Your responsibilities will extend to data collection, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making. You will also liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and environmental considerations.

THE PERSON

To excel in this role, you should hold a bachelors degree in mining engineering or a closely related field. You'll need a minimum of two years of practical experience in open pit mining operations. Proficiency in mine planning software and equipment coordination tools will be essential for your success. Your strong analytical skills will empower you to assess mining processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions. Effective communication and collaboration with various teams will be paramount, reflecting your commitment to safety and operational excellence.
