ABOUT THE ROLE

A growing automotive dealership in the greater Merrimack Valley is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at a new location. The right candidate will bring a strong technical background, ASE certification, and factory training. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing vehicle systems with accuracy and efficiency. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a brand-new facility with modern equipment and a team built to support your success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional service needs and provide time estimates
  • Execute warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE Certification required
  • Manufacturer factory certification preferred; prior dealership experience a plus
  • B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Dexterity, steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
