Role: QAD DBA Consultant

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: REMOTE ( anywhere from LATAM )

Primary Skills : QAD DBA Technical Consultant

We need following skills

  • QAD DBA
  • Proficiency on YAB controlled QAD environments
  • Proficiency on older versions [using MFG/UTIL, shell scripts and command line interactive executions]
  • QAD Application Security [User Password reset, assigning user roles, assigning QAD menus access to users]
  • Strict adherence to ITSM procedures
  • Knows and understand Audit and SOX compliance
  • QXTEND monitoring and corrections
  • .NETUI monitoring and corrections
  • Monitor Long running transactions and decide on actions
  • Knowledge about PROTOP [database monitoring] is an added advantage
  • BI Management
  • AI Management
  • Backup, Disaster Recovery Management
  • Orphaned transactions monitoring and corrections
  • Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese
  • Ability to code, read and understand Shell scripts and Python scripts
  • Linux [major flavors] administration
  • PRO2SQL monitoring and corrections is desirable
  • Should be able to converse with QAD [OEM] team for support, procuring patches; etc
