The Information Architect will design, document and govern information architectures that support business capabilities, service delivery and enterprise information management objectives. The role works closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand information requirements, develop information models and structures, define metadata and taxonomy frameworks, support information governance initiatives, and ensure information assets are aligned with enterprise and data architecture strategies. The contractor will contribute to Agile delivery practices, maintain work items in Azure DevOps, support governance activities, and provide knowledge transfer to build internal capability.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Run stakeholder engagement and information discovery workshops
  • Assess the current-state information landscape, including existing assets, repositories and structures
  • Analyse information flows, dependencies and governance requirements
  • Develop information models, taxonomies and metadata structures
  • Establish information classification and content structures
  • Document integration and interoperability requirements
  • Develop information governance recommendations and standards
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise, data and solution architecture strategies
  • Deliver stakeholder briefings, governance presentations and knowledge transfer materials
  • Contribute to Agile delivery practices and maintain work items in Azure DevOps

Outcome: a future-state information architecture aligned with business, data and enterprise architecture objectives.

3. Governance and implementation support

Finalisation of information architecture artefacts and governance documentation, stakeholder briefings, knowledge transfer and handover materials, and support for implementation and adoption. Outcome: an approved, sustainable information architecture backed by governance and stakeholder buy-in.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
