Job Description

When you’re part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, you’ll do challenging work and be part of a team that values performance, quality, and innovation. As part of a successful, growing global organization, you will be encouraged to perform at your best. We give our people the resources and opportunities to make meaningful contributions to the world.

The Team

Our Product Compliance team helps ensure that our advanced technologies meet relevant product safety and environmental requirements. We work closely with colleagues across different departments to support compliance throughout the product lifecycle and contribute to the development of reliable, high-quality products.

The Position

Are you a student in a technical or scientific field looking to gain practical experience in an international high-tech environment?

You will support our team with product safety and environmental compliance activities, technical documentation, and engineering change processes. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge, develop new skills, and gain valuable insight into product compliance in a global technology company.

The position offers a DPČ agreement (Agreement on Work Activity) with approximately 80 working hours per month, with working hours agreed upon with the department to help you balance work and university commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support product safety and compliance activities, including CE marking requirements.
  • Assist with environmental compliance activities related to RoHS and REACH regulations.
  • Maintain and update product documentation and technical data in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and Excel.
  • Support data collection, organization, and visualization, including simple reports and KPI overviews.
  • Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on departmental projects and other product compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Current university student in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related technical or scientific field, ideally in the later stages of Bachelor's studies or beyond.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with AI tools.
  • Very good written and spoken English and Czech.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and responsible approach to work, with the ability to organize tasks independently.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and processes.
  • Interest in product safety, environmental regulations, or technical documentation is an advantage.

What we offer

  • Meaningful and rewarding work in an international high-tech company with exciting career prospects.
  • Flexible working hours that you can easily balance with your studies.
  • An extra week of paid vacation.
  • A meal allowance.
  • A free MultiSport card.
  • A discounted mobile phone plan.
  • Support for your professional and personal growth and development.
  • A friendly and informal company culture.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
