Job Overview: We are seeking a Production Lead for our fulfilment centre to manage daily activities and a growing team of operatives. This hands-on leadership role's core mission is to ensure that all customers orders are fulfilled on-time, in full, and to a high level of quality standards. You will be working closely with our Supply Chain, and Product teams to make sure new and existing products are prepared to order, and you will be part of cross functional working groups to help make positive change happen.

Please note: this is a 9 month FTC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of 10 (and growing) operatives, fostering a positive work environment. Also, managing the administrative side of the team including onboarding, hour submissions to payroll and holiday approvals.
  • Order Fulfilment: Oversee the entire order fulfilment process, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on time, in full, and to our quality standards.
  • Material Management: Manage incoming goods, oversee stock control procedures, and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control checks throughout the fulfilment process to maintain product quality.
  • Health & Safety: Champion a strong health and safety culture within the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Lead the review and improvement of our operational and fulfilment processes, making recommendations to management to support business growth and our evolving product offering.

Must Haves

  • Experience in an industrial, production, fulfillment, or warehousing setting is required.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of diverse people to hit their goals, with a “People first” approach.
  • This full-time Production Lead position is located onsite at our warehouse in Slough.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical skills

We’re looking for someone with grit, perseverance and a positive attitude under pressure. They should be a strong communicator, confident in team briefings and presenting to management. This person is good with technology and is comfortable with various software platforms. They show passion for the role and to the company's success. They are also flexible and ready to do more work or learn new things if the job requires it.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in a D2C fulfilment, high growth environment.
  • Management, engineering, or leadership background or education.
  • Health and Safety, Folift, Scissor lift certifications. (Training will be provided where necessary).
