The posting

The UPS Store is a locally owned franchise retail store, under the UPS brand, that offers an environment of positive and customer oriented employees that work together as a team to provide our customers with a welcoming retail experience by receiving and processing packages for shipment, efficiently processing Amazon and other business returns, assisting with printing and copying requests, and providing our array of other related retail services. We are looking for a candidate to join our team that enjoys working with other team members in a fast paced environment to assure our customer’s needs are met in an efficient and positive manner.

The optimal candidate will display a friendly and professional demeanor and appearance, be a fast learner who utilizes training options to quickly grasp all aspects of the business, and has 2 to 5 years of experience in warehouse or related workplaces, coupled with some experience in delivery of positive customer service in previous retail positions.

The pay for this position is $15.00 per hour, plus a monthly incentive bonus based on meeting overall store performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides packing services in accordance with specified guidelines, and assists other team members in meeting required duties as assigned.

Maintains a positive environment through good communication skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and Store Management.

Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others

Effectively uses training options to learn all product and service offerings, provide applicable alternative solutions, and quickly adapt to changes in processes and procedures

Maintains a clean, organized and safe working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Prompt, reliable, and responsible

Ability to lift 50 plus pounds, and work on feet during work shift.

High School Diploma or GED
