As the Site Manager for THG Omega you will:

Site Leadership & Operational Delivery

  • Lead all aspects of site operations across powder blending and packaging activities to deliver production plans safely, efficiently, and at scale.
  • Own site performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people metrics.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence, ensuring strong engagement across all shifts and functions.
  • Ensure effective coordination between production, warehouse, and engineering to meet throughput and service requirements.
  • Drive performance against site KPIs including output, efficiency, labour utilisation, and OTIF.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Lead all Health & Safety activities, ensuring a consistently safe working environment across a large, complex operation.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, food supplement regulations, and internal compliance standards.
  • Maintain a high level of audit readiness, working closely with the Technical and HSE functions.
  • Promote a proactive and embedded safety culture across all levels of the site.

Quality & Technical Alignment

  • Work in close partnership with the Technical Manager to ensure all products meet required standards and specifications.
  • Ensure robust quality systems and strong adherence to GMP across all manufacturing and packaging processes.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventative actions (CAPA), and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in right-first-time performance and reduction in waste and rework.

People Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop a multi-layer leadership structure, including Production, Warehouse, and Engineering Managers.
  • Build leadership capability and succession across the site, ensuring depth and resilience.
  • Set clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards across all functions.
  • Foster a strong, engaged, and high-performing culture aligned to operational excellence.

Engineering & Asset Performance

  • Partner closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure site assets remain reliable and fit for purpose, with particular attention to an aging asset base.
  • Ensure effective preventative maintenance and asset care strategies are in place.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Support prioritisation of capital investment linked to automation and asset renewal.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead the progression of automation across the site, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Work with central teams and engineering to deliver automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on productivity, waste reduction, and process standardisation.
  • Ensure automation initiatives are effectively integrated into operations with minimal disruption.

Cost Control & Site Efficiency

  • Own site cost performance across labour, materials, and overheads within a large-scale operation.
  • Drive efficiency improvements without compromising safety, quality, or compliance.
  • Identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives through process optimisation and automation.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Provide clear, structured reporting on site performance to the Production Director.
  • Highlight risks, constraints, and opportunities in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical, HSE, and central group functions to ensure alignment and delivery of group priorities.

Key Measures of Success

  • Sustained high performance in safety and compliance metrics.
  • Successful progression of automation and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Improved equipment reliability and asset performance.
  • Increased efficiency, reduced waste, and improved labour utilisation.
  • Strong engagement, capability, and retention across the leadership team and wider workforce.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
