About the Opportunity

Love working with young children but interested in building a career beyond the classroom?

This is a unique opportunity to combine early childhood math education, academic program development, and business operations in one full-time role.

As a Lower School Math Teacher & Business Operations Specialist, you will work directly with young learners (ages 3–6) and their families while contributing to the growth and development of Think Academy’s Lower School programs.

You will gain hands-on experience across teaching, parent engagement, student enrollment, program operations, and business growth.

This role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who:

  • Enjoy working with young children and making learning fun.
  • Want to develop strong teaching, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Are interested in education, business operations, or program management.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and growing environment.

No prior teaching experience is required. We provide structured training and ongoing professional development to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do

1. Early Childhood Math Teaching & Academic Development

  • Teach engaging, interactive math and early thinking classes for children ages 3–6.
  • Create a positive and structured learning environment through games, storytelling, hands-on activities, and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Observe student progress and provide individualized learning support.
  • Communicate with parents about student development, learning progress, and educational recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to improve curriculum, classroom activities, and teaching practices.
  • Share classroom insights and student feedback to support future program development.

2. Parent Engagement & Program Operations

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with students and families.
  • Understand families’ educational goals and recommend appropriate learning programs.
  • Support the full student journey, including trial classes, enrollment, onboarding, retention, and ongoing parent communication.
  • Help organize and participate in Open Houses, parent workshops, and community events.
  • Collect and analyze parent feedback to continuously improve the learning experience.

3. Business Operations & Program Growth

  • Support the daily operations and continued growth of Think Academy Silicon Valley’s Lower School programs.
  • Collaborate with campus leadership on local marketing, student recruitment, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, parent satisfaction, and student retention.
  • Take ownership of special projects related to program development, enrollment growth, and business improvement.
  • Gain exposure to education business management and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with children and parents.
  • Energetic, patient, responsible, and eager to learn.
  • Strong ownership mindset, adaptability, and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be available to work weekday afternoons and both Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
