The posting

Third Way is a national think tank and advocacy organization that champions moderate policy and political ideas. Since our founding in 2005, we have served as a critical bulwark against political extremism by advancing values-driven, reform-oriented solutions on the defining issues of our time. Our work is grounded in the mainstream American values of opportunity, freedom, security, and democratic capitalism, and we advocate for the vital center across seven major areas: climate and energy, economy, education, health care, national security, politics, and social policy.

This role will have a big impact in national politics including the race for the White House, elevating a generation of center-left leaders, building durable majorities in Congress, and bolstering the broader moderate movement. The Senior Digital Media Advisor is ideal for someone who is highly creative, able to identify openings in national political and policy conversations and can create engaging content using basic design and video editing tools.

As the Senior Digital Media Advisor, a typical day might include…

  • Drafting timely, creative digital content on Third Way’s political narrative and policy products;
  • Preparing the strategy for Third Way’s digital communications outreach in collaboration with the Deputy Director of Marketing and manages the development and execution of tactics to implement that strategy and monitor the progress;

  • Leading topic specific, multi-platform digital campaigns as assigned;
  • Partnering with Third Way communications staff and program staff on digital campaign plans for paid advertisements, drafting copy, preparing audience targets, proposing and collaborating on creative development, and monitoring their progress;
  • Identifying opportunities for the Third Way handle and other organizational accounts and spokespeople to engage in the political conversation online and build relationships with influential people and groups;
  • Monitoring important digital conversations for Third Way’s engagement and flags opportunities for relevant senior leaders;
  • Pitching and executing digital content in a variety of mediums (eg. video, graphics, tweet threads);
  • Tracking and monitoring Third Way’s brand performance and the progress toward our digital objectives;
  • Collaborating with Third Way teams to help plan and execute digital content for events and product roll-outs;
  • Advising and training Third Way staff and programs on best practices for the platforms and digital communications;
  • May supervisor staff; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
