  • Drive the innovation mindset across the overall product development lifecycle, utilising lean and hypothesis driven approaches and provide leadership on establishing an effective product operating model.
  • Establish the market & competitive landscape, go to market strategy and business case or economic model for the opportunity with our clients.
  • Lead the stakeholders to think about customer’s problems, business outcomes and take them on the change journey of moving to empowered product teams that create strategic growth for the organisation.
  • Lead large, complex programmes across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups, owning strategy, roadmap, scope and outcomes end to end.
  • Apply a consultative selling approach in pre-sales, creating proposals and pitches, shaping engagements for clients and helping to educate both clients and colleagues about the value of our services.
  • Help shape CXPD service line value propositions, creating case studies, points of view and other content through insights on client needs and solutions, and also through defining repeatable practices which will help us to scale our efforts.
  • Champion the future of product development, with lean squads, fast paced iterations and actively building the next generation ways of working.
  • Advise clients on where and how AI can meaningfully accelerate or enhance the product development lifecycle; from research and discovery through to delivery and measurement.
  • Own or contribute to account growth targets, identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships into new engagements and revenue streams.

Job qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 10+ years of product leadership experience in building and launching products and establishing high performing product organisations.
  • Demonstrated track record leading large-scale, complex programmes and senior stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in commercial and economic modelling, including monetisation strategy
  • Experience in bringing an innovation mindset into an organisation at scale and creating sustained innovation investment across strategic horizons.
  • Depth in conducting research and bringing market trends, customer and competitive insights to facilitate strategic ideation to identify opportunities for strategic growth.
  • Depth and expertise in developing value proposition, using lean approaches to test viability, feasibility and desirable to achieve problem-solution and product-market fit before scaling.
  • Operate at company, portfolio and product level - defining and executing a strategy, shaping a vision and translating it into a roadmap with clear business and customer value-based measures of success.
  • Advise clients on becoming a value-driven, customer-centric product organisation and drive the change by introducing best practices in product management, value delivery and measurement and making innovation mainstream.
  • Fluency in AI and its practical application across the product development lifecycle - comfortable evaluating, piloting and advising on AI-enabled tools and approaches for research, discovery, delivery and measurement.

Professional Skills

  • Skilled at operating and building relationships with C-suite executives and confident in driving conversations at the intersection of technology and business.
  • Experience with consultative selling - diagnosing client needs, co-creating solutions, and building trusted-advisor relationships that convert into engagements, rather than a transactional sales approach.
  • Ability to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - active listening, persuading and empathising with others and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Passionate about being a visible external voice for the practice - speaking at conferences, contributing to industry panels or publications
  • Product builder and advisor mindset, with strong lean to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Brings a curious, open mindset to challenging established ways of working, and is energised by reimagining the product development lifecycle for a faster-paced, AI-enabled era - treating new tools and methods as opportunities to experiment rather than risks to manage.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
