The posting

Threat Tec, LLC is an integrated technology and services company serving defense and commercial customers. We design, deliver, and sustain training, readiness, and mission-support solutions that combine people, process, and technology to improve preparation, decision-making, and operational performance.

About the Role

Threat Tec is seeking a senior Operations Support Specialist to serve as on-site lead for our support to the U.S. Army Future Training Directorate (FTD), Combined Arms Command–Training (CAC-T), in Orlando, Florida. You will lead a team of analysts and technical staff, synchronize people, technology and processes into a collaborative information environment that enables Mission Command for the FTD Director, and drive integrated knowledge management that helps leaders make informed, timely decisions about the future of Army training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site lead and primary point of contact for Threat Tec staff supporting the FTD; manage daily operations, staffing and quality of deliverables.
  • Develop, coordinate, integrate and synchronize people, technology and processes into a collaborative information environment in support of Mission Command for the FTD Director.
  • Lead integrated knowledge management applications, processes and services that build shared understanding across the directorate.
  • Develop and edit briefings, information papers, executive summary memoranda, JCIDS documents and Capabilities-Based Assessments (CBAs).
  • Coordinate with combat developers, user representatives and higher headquarters to ensure training solutions meet Army needs.
  • Track taskers, suspenses and action items; report status and risks to Government leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance (must be active at start).
  • Master's degree in a related field and 15+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Senior Army staff or program experience in operations, plans, training or capability development.
  • Demonstrated experience writing and editing senior-leader products (briefings, information papers, EXSUMs) and JCIDS / CBA documentation.
  • Experience leading teams and managing day-to-day contract or program operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with Army training modernization, the Synthetic Training Environment, TRADOC, CAC-T or Army Futures Command.
  • Knowledge management experience on Army or joint staffs.
  • Prior military service (senior NCO or field-grade officer) or equivalent civilian leadership.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
