The posting

About Threecolts

Threecolts is a software suite built for consumer brands, helping them recover revenue, operate more efficiently and grow across major retailers and marketplaces. Our largest business, Margin Pro, helps brands recover money owed to them by retailers and marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart and Target by managing disputes on their behalf. Alongside this, we’re building and scaling newer products, including AI Operator and Retail 365, while continuing to grow our portfolio of subscription products across our customer base.

Who We Are

We’re a global team of 340 people across 33 teams, having grown through 24 acquisitions. We operate with a flat structure, giving people real ownership and the ability to move quickly. AI is embedded in how we work across the business, helping us increase speed, improve quality and operate at scale.

Job Summary

🛠️ What You'll Do

  • Own how Threecolts shows up in the market across positioning, content, social, and external communications, helping sellers and brands understand who we are and why our products matter before they ever speak to us.
  • This is a senior, hands-on role. Threecolts is deliberately building a lean marketing team that operates at high capacity using AI, which means senior people build as well as lead. You’ll spend significant time producing, editing, and shaping work directly rather than managing a large team or delegating execution.
  • Working across a diverse portfolio, from SMB products such as Seller 365 and AI Operator through to enterprise propositions including Margin Pro and Retail 365, you’ll develop positioning and messaging that reflects the very different needs, buying criteria, and language of each audience.
  • A core part of the role is building a scalable positioning system across the portfolio, grounded in genuine marketplace insight. That means understanding not only what each ICP values, but what they do not care about, and avoiding generic SaaS messaging that tries to speak to everyone.
  • You’ll own our pillar content and editorial approach, developing substantial pieces of content that can be repurposed across channels and formats. Keyword, topic, and SEO strategy also sit within the role, informed by a strong understanding of our audiences and the questions they are trying to answer.
  • You’ll own Threecolts’ social presence, PR activity, and influencer approach, shaping the register and narrative we use across external channels. You’ll work closely with Growth and other Marketing teams, setting strong messaging and content foundations that can be applied across campaigns and acquisition activity.
  • You’ll also play a significant role in maintaining the quality of what Threecolts puts into the market, using strong editorial judgement to produce and review a high volume of work without slowing the organisation down.
  • Depending on experience, the role may also manage a small number of direct reports or flexible external production resource.

🎯 What's Required

  • 7+ years of experience across Brand, Content, Product Marketing, or related marketing roles within e-commerce, marketplace, or B2B SaaS environments
  • Deep marketplace e-commerce knowledge, with a strong understanding of how Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplace sellers and brands operate
  • Experience developing differentiated positioning and messaging across multiple products, audiences, or ICPs
  • Ability to communicate effectively to very different audiences, from independent marketplace sellers through to senior stakeholders within enterprise consumer brands
  • Strong editorial judgement, with the ability to assess, improve, and produce high-quality work quickly across multiple formats and channels
  • Genuinely hands-on experience using AI tools to research, create, edit, repurpose, and scale marketing output
  • Strong content strategy experience, including editorial planning, SEO, keyword strategy, and content distribution
  • Experience owning or contributing significantly to social, PR, influencer, or external communications strategies
  • Strong commercial literacy, with an understanding of how brand, positioning, and content contribute to pipeline, conversion, adoption, and revenue
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, lean environment where senior people are expected to build as well as set direction
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to move confidently between different audiences, tones, and levels of complexity

🚀 What We're Looking For

  • A senior marketing operator with deep marketplace knowledge and strong instinct for how products should be positioned and communicated.
  • Someone who can move comfortably between a solopreneur running an Amazon business and a Brand Director at a global consumer company, understanding that the language, priorities, and proof points that resonate with each are fundamentally different.
  • You have strong taste but you are not precious about the process. You can apply editorial judgement quickly, recognise what is good enough to ship, and improve output without becoming a bottleneck.
  • You are highly hands-on and actively use AI to increase your own capacity. You see AI as part of how modern marketing teams operate, not as a separate initiative or something delegated to junior team members.
  • You are commercially minded and understand that brand and content ultimately need to contribute to growth. You are comfortable discussing pipeline, conversion, attribution, and revenue alongside positioning, narrative, and creative quality.
  • Most importantly, you want meaningful ownership rather than a bigger team. You are comfortable working in the detail, producing alongside others, and using technology and judgement to achieve more than the size of the team would suggest.

💰 Compensation, Perks & Benefits

  • Salary $ 130,000 per year
  • Opportunity to join company-wide offsites
  • Regular rate reviews and bonus opportunities
  • Fully remote/hybrid working

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
