We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.

Our services span collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder.

Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the UK, and France.

As part of our interview process, we request that candidates have their cameras on during video interviews. This helps foster meaningful conversation and allows us to create an experience that closely resembles our standard working environment. Certain interview steps may take place by phone. For remote roles, and at our discretion, candidates may be asked to participate in an on-site interview as part of the final stages of the process.

We understand there may be occasional circumstances requiring accommodation and are happy to discuss them as needed. Your recruiter will be able to clarify expectations and answer any questions you have.

We’re looking for a Director, Transportation & Logistics who will build and lead Collectors' global transportation, shipping, and trade compliance capability, beginning with PSA. Today, shipping runs as a lean parcel program with fragmented ownership of customs activity, global carrier management, shipping tools and systems, and transportation + logistics processes. As PSA grading volume expands globally, this function must become a scaled, governed, technology-enabled operation.

You’ll report to the VP, Operations and work onsite from one of our offices in California, Florida, Texas or New Jersey - our office locations are in Santa Ana, Boca Raton, Plano and Jersey City (Santa Ana preferred). There will be occasional quarterly travel for this role.

Onsite Requirement:

This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.

Scope & Impact:

  • Ownership of shipping systems: TMS, carrier management tools, and Operations shipping tools (ProShip, Aftership)
  • Build-out of a regional transportation + logistics team across the US, EU, and APAC, plus develop our customs and trade compliance capability
  • Ownership of global transportation network strategy, including network design, routing, mode selection, capacity planning, and resilience
  • Financial accountability for transportation spend, budget, forecast, cost-to-serve, and structural savings

Carrier Strategy & Contract Management

  • Own the global carrier strategy and portfolio across parcel, express, international, and freight; lead RFPs and negotiate rates, surcharges, service levels, liability, and claims terms
  • Own the global transportation network and carrier strategy across parcel, express, international, freight, 3PLs, and specialty high-value logistics providers; optimize routing, mode selection, carrier mix, and capacity by lane and region
  • Structure contract terms that protect high-value shipments and align commercial terms with Finance forecasts, budgets, and accruals
  • Run carrier governance: scorecards, business reviews, SLA enforcement, freight audit/payment, invoice accuracy, accessorial management, spend visibility, claims recovery, carrier redundancy, and contingency planning

Systems, Tools & Shipping Programs

  • Own the transportation systems roadmap with Product & Technology, including TMS selection, implementation, and adoption, plus carrier management tools and analytics for rate shopping, performance, cost, and exception insights
  • Give leadership end-to-end shipment visibility through integrated IMS, WMS, ERP, and carrier data
  • Build global shipment visibility and exception-management capabilities, with real-time monitoring, clear escalation paths, and analytics across cost, service, claims, customs, and shipment exceptions

Global Shipping Processes, Insurance & High-Value Transport

  • Design and standardize the global process for all inter-company shipments and all inbound customer shipments
  • Own the shipping insurance program, including coverage structure, carrier liability versus third-party coverage, claims recovery, and policy governance with Finance, Risk, and Legal
  • Define the high-value transport process: eligibility thresholds, service levels, packaging, handling, tracking, chain-of-custody, and signature requirements
  • Partner with Engineering on shipping solutions, including packaging and container design, and use damage, loss, and claims data to drive improvements

Customs, Trade Compliance & Team Leadership

  • Provide leadership oversight of customs and global trade compliance across North America, EU, and APAC, including customs brokers and forwarders, classification, valuation, duties, and documentation
  • Build and develop a regional logistics team with clear KPIs (on-time delivery, cost per shipment, damage and loss rate, claims recovery) and succession

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
