Duties:
- Learn to identify maintenance issues on knitting equipment and assist in resolving them appropriately.
- Assist with performing maintenance and repairs on knitting equipment.
- Perform a variety of small jobs and special assignments as directed.
- Learn to operate knitting equipment and serve as a backup operator when needed.
- Train on and support preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively as a team member to accomplish department goals and projects.
- Provide support to other departments as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in manufacturing, maintenance, mechanical work, automotive repair, construction, farming, or a related hands-on environment.
- Exposure to troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical equipment.
- Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience.
