About the role

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Procurement Specialist with 5 to 6 years of experience to oversee our end-to-end technology sourcing and vendor lifecycle. In this role, you will lead high-value negotiations for software, hardware, SaaS, and IT services. You will serve as the internal subject matter expert for our digital procurement tools, leveraging data analytics to streamline transactional workflows, ensure contract compliance, and drive sustainable cost-optimisation strategies across the organisation.

The Role:

Strategic Sourcing & Lifecycle Management:

Manage RFx processes from end to end, including drafting detailed RFPs, establishing evaluation criteria, and aligning technology selections with business objectives.

  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for enterprise software licensing, SaaS subscriptions, cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS), IT hardware, and telecom services.
  • Oversee IT asset lifecycles in partnership with technology leaders, proactively monitoring software usage, upcoming renewals, and hardware replacement cycles.

Procurement Tool Optimisation & Data Analytics:

  • Administer and optimise digital procurement software to automate purchasing workflows and enhance system efficiency.
  • Track key spend metrics and build comprehensive dashboards to uncover cost-saving, vendor consolidation, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Train and support internal teams on procurement systems, ensuring compliant purchase order (PO) generation, accurate data entry, and adherence to governance frameworks.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Evaluate vendor performance against established service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively resolving compliance or billing disputes.
  • Mitigate supply chain and business risks by assessing vendor financial health, cyber security postures, and compliance with global data regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Legal, and Finance departments to ensure budgetary alignment and seamless contract review cycles.

Knowledge Required

The position requires deep technical and core competencies across strategic contract negotiations with major publishers (e.g., Google, AWS, Oracle, Salesforce), comprehensive legal and contractual acumen regarding cloud licensing and data privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR), and advanced data analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Professional procurement credentials such as MCIPS/CIPS, CPSM, or ITIL foundations are highly preferred.

Experience

  • 5 to 6 years of dedicated experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or software asset management.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
