Tierra is building an agentic power trading platform combining market intelligence, forecasting, optimization, and AI-powered analysis to help energy teams manage physical assets with greater speed, transparency, and control. Founded by energy industry veterans, Tierra is a seed-stage startup backed by NextView Ventures, Analog Ventures, SE Ventures, NFX, and others. Our engineers, data scientists, and energy traders aim to equip energy teams with the capabilities of a world-class trading desk.

About the Role

Work with Tierra's founders to build our thought leadership and growth engine. Turn complex power market insights into compelling content, grow our digital audience, and test AI-powered marketing and lead-generation workflows. Your work will shape how prospective customers discover and understand Tierra.

What You’ll Do

  • Ghostwrite blogs, market primers, and guides with input from Tierra's subject-matter experts
  • Plan and publish content across Tierra's website, LinkedIn page, and founder channels
  • Track website, search, and LinkedIn analytics, including conversions and qualified leads
  • Improve SEO, AI-search visibility, and content distribution to grow relevant audiences
  • Build AI-assisted workflows for drafting, lead capture, CRM enrichment, and prospect research
  • Create case studies, sales collateral, and campaigns that support customer acquisition

Requirements

What You Bring (Required)

  • Current MBA student available 10–20 hours per week during the semester
  • 4–5 years of experience in marketing, consulting, energy, technology, or a similar field
  • Exceptional writer and editor who makes technical topics clear, accurate, and engaging
  • Strong analytical judgment and comfort using data to test and refine ideas
  • Independent self-starter who can scope, execute, and deliver projects consistently
  • Curiosity about energy and AI; SEO, analytics, or energy-sector experience is a plus
