Job Description

We are looking for a Test Environment Administrator who wants to be part of Tieto Banktech. Tieto Banktech powers some of the Nordics’ most trusted banking systems with secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. Using automation, data, AI, and cloud, supported by hands-on guidance, we help banks modernize their core, strengthen trust, and deliver greater impact across the banking experience.

When joining Tieto Banktech as a Test Environment Administrator

  • We operate containers and deploy to OpenShift using ArgoCD.
  • We practice GitOps on GitHub, provide guidance through Slack, and contribute to a strong DevOps culture.
  • We strive to streamline and optimize the operation of our pre-production environments through automation and AI, helping to establish the foundation for an optimal production environment for our Tieto Banktech products.
  • Our day-to-day work increasingly involves Infrastructure as Code. Experience with, or a motivation to learn, this is considered an advantage (e.g., Terraform).
  • Experience with VMware is an advantage.
  • We work in a strong professional environment alongside technical specialists, coordinators, and architects. Here, you will face challenges that help you grow and learn something new every single day.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or other relevant education.
  • Experience with Linux and Kubernetes through studies, work, or personal projects.
  • Programming skills, preferably in Python, with a passion for problem-solving.
  • A strong interest in AI, machine learning, and automation.
  • Experience with OpenShift and Grafana is a plus.
  • Fluent in Norwegian (or another Nordic language) and English, both written and spoken.
