The posting

Are you looking for an exciting job in a restaurant with a unique Georgian kitchen concept? Restaurant Tiflis, located in the heart of Leuven, is looking for an experienced and motivated students to join our kitchen team during evening shifts.

When?

  • Tuesday and/or Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings (sometimes Friday and Saturday too)
  • Shifts run approximately from 17h30-18h30 till +/- midnight

‍ What will you be doing?

You’ll support the kitchen and do dishwashing. Your responsibilities are varied, and you’ll play an important role in ensuring smooth and clean service.

Kitchen duties:

  • Assist in preparing dishes using the oven, deep fryer, microwave, pots and pans and bain-marie
  • Keep track of dish timings and coordinate service flow
  • Help plate and finish dishes following the chef’s instructions
  • Perform basic mise-en-place tasks
  • Follow directions from the chef accurately and work efficiently under pressure

Dishwashing & maintenance:

  • Wash both kitchen utensils and service dishes
  • Dry and properly store clean items
  • Help maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dishwashing area, including the dishwasher, sinks, cabinets, walls, and floors

  • Speaking English only is sufficient for this position, but English is requiered
  • You are currently enrolled as a student and will maintain student status throughout the 2026–2027 academic year.
  • You are available to work at least one evening per week also in the exam period.
