The posting

Función Principal:

  • Liderar el diseño, integración y aprovisionamiento de infraestructura física de TI (servidores bare-metal para diversos usos), así como la creación y despliegue de máquinas virtuales e instancias sobre plataformas como vSphere, vSAN, Proxmox y OpenStack. Implementa automatizaciones (IaC) para el ciclo de vida completo del cómputo, garantizando la correcta configuración de hardware, interfaces de red, esquemas de almacenamiento (SAN/NAS), protección de datos (BaaS) y la estandarización de los entornos para su puesta en producción.

Responsabilidades:

  • Arquitectura, Ensamble e Integración de Hardware: Evaluar, dimensionar e integrar servidores enterprise (rack, blade o hiperconvergentes). Configurar parámetros de BIOS/UEFI, arreglos RAID, firmware, tarjetas HBA, NICs/SmartNICs y módulos de memoria/procesamiento.
  • Gestión de Servidores Out-of-Band (OOB): Administrar e instrumentar plataformas de gestión remota de hardware (Dell iDRAC, HPE iLO) para aprovisionamiento, monitoreo de salud del chasis y actualización de firmware.
  • Aprovisionamiento de Virtualización y Máquinas Virtuales: Diseñar, implementar y administrar entornos virtualizados (VMware vSphere/vSAN, Proxmox VE, OpenStack), desplegando y configurando las máquinas virtuales e instancias necesarias para la operación.
  • Automatización e Infraestructura como Código (IaC): Desarrollar y mantener automatizaciones con Ansible, Terraform, Bash y Python para el aprovisionamiento masivo, configuración estándar (Bare-Metal Provisioning) y despliegue acelerado de instancias virtualizadas.
  • Gestión de Configuración y Control de Versiones: Administrar playbooks, roles y scripts mediante controladores de versiones (Git), asegurando la trazabilidad y estandarización en la entrega de ambientes.
  • Aprovisionamiento de Almacenamiento y Respaldos: Configurar e integrar soluciones de almacenamiento SAN y NAS (LUNs, volúmenes, datastores, LVM) para nuevos entornos, así como desplegar políticas e infraestructura de Backup as a Service (BaaS) y DRP.
  • Integración de Redes y Servicios Base: Configurar y validar conectividad física y lógica (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, LACP/Trunking) durante el despliegue de nuevas plataformas y sistemas operativos.
  • Dimensionamiento y Design Review: Analizar requerimientos técnicos y capacidad de hardware (Capacity Planning) para diseñar soluciones escalables.
  • Handover y Documentación de Ingeniería: Documentar la arquitectura entregada (MOPs, diagramas de topología física/lógica, memorias técnicas) y realizar la transferencia formal de conocimiento a las áreas operativas.

Requisitos:

  • Educación: Ingeniería/Licenciatura en Sistemas, Computación, Telecomunicaciones o carrera afín.
  • Experiencia: Mínima de 5 años en ingeniería, arquitectura o despliegue de infraestructura de TI, hardware de servidores, automatización y plataformas de virtualización.
  • Idiomas: Inglés nivel intermedio.

Conocimientos Específicos:

1. Hardware de Servidores y Componentes:

  • Servidores Enterprise: Experiencia avanzada en marcas líderes (Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant/Synergy).
  • Componentes de Servidor: Dominio técnico en procesadores (x86), memorias (RAM/ECC), controladoras y arreglos RAID (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10), tarjetas HBA (Fibre Channel), interfaces de red (Ethernet 10/25/100 GbE) y discos (NVMe, SAS, SATA).
  • Gestión de Hardware Remoto (OOB): Dominio de herramientas de administración como iDRAC, iLO, actualización de firmware y diagnósticos a nivel de componente.

2. Virtualización y Private/Hybrid Cloud:

  • VMware Suite: Dominio en despliegue de vSphere, vCenter, vSAN y conocimientos en vRealize Automation / Aria (vRA/vRO).
  • Plataformas Alternativas: Experiencia en Proxmox VE y conocimientos en OpenStack (altamente deseable).
  • Herramientas de Conversión/Migración: Manejo de VMware HCX, vCenter Converter u otras herramientas de réplica para importación de cargas.

3. Automatización, IaC y CI/CD:

  • Gestión de Configuración: Dominio de Ansible (creación de roles, playbooks e integración).
  • Infraestructura como Código (IaC): Conocimiento en Terraform / OpenTofu (Deseable).
  • Scripting: Dominio de Bash Scripting y programación en Python.
  • Control de Versiones: Manejo de Git (GitHub, GitLab) para gestión de código de infraestructura.

4. Sistemas Operativos, Almacenamiento y Redes:

  • Linux General: Dominio amplio en administración de Linux en diversas distribuciones (basadas en RPM como Red Hat/Oracle/Rocky, y Debian/Ubuntu), gestión de almacenamiento (LVM), rendimiento y hardening.
  • Windows Server: Conocimiento básico a intermedio en administración de servicios en Windows Server.
  • Storage y Backup: Aprovisionamiento de arquitecturas SAN (Fibre Channel, iSCSI), NAS (NFS, SMB), almacenamiento definido por software (vSAN) y soluciones Backup as a Service (BaaS) / DRP.
  • Redes y Protocolos: Dominio de protocolos base: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, agregación de enlaces (LACP/Trunking) y diagnóstico de red.

Competencias y Habilidades:

  • Capacidad Analítica y Diagnóstico Físico/Lógico: Habilidad para resolver fallas de integración desde el nivel de hardware hasta la capa de software.
  • Orientación a Proyectos y Entregables: Enfoque en cumplir hitos de despliegue con calidad y en tiempo.
