The posting

About the team The Platform Responsibility team is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining machine learning models and operational processes that support TikTok's Trust & Safety systems. We ensure that automated safety models perform effectively in identifying harmful content, mitigating risks, and maintaining a safe user environment across regions.

The Platform Responsibility team is bringing disruptive innovation to content safety through the deep application of AI. We are building next-generation infrastructure that leverages advanced LLMs to reshape risk detection and governance. By engineering high-quality data pipelines and integrating AI into core decision-making, we drive exponential efficiency gains and precision. Working at the intersection of scalable engineering and technology, we empower global business growth while serving as the foundation of user trust.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals. Candidates may apply to a maximum of two positions across Our Company and its affiliates globally. Applications will be considered in the order they are submitted. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early. Please clearly state your availability in your resume, including your start and end dates.

Responsibilities - For large-model training and evaluation scenarios, participate in formulating and continuously iterating data quality standards, judgement rules, and acceptance criteria; - Review and assess data outputs against quality standards, identify issues and close the loop on corrections to ensure accuracy and consistency; - Participate deeply in the assessment and discussion of complex, ambiguous, and edge cases, turning findings into reusable judgement rules and knowledge assets; - Track quality performance, identify root causes, and drive improvements in production processes and execution; - Collaborate with production, product, algorithm, strategy, and other teams to align quality standards and connect the “standards—production—acceptance—feedback” loop. - Be patient with foundational and repetitive work, and adept at identifying problems;

Minimum Qualification(s) - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in majors in computer science, statistics, law, philosophy, economics, journalism, languages, or related fields. - Excellent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with the ability to accurately understand English videos and written content. - Familiarity with common data-processing tools such as Excel, and a basic understanding of the boundaries of AI capabilities. - Clear logic and strong abilities in structured decomposition, abstraction and synthesis, judgement, and communication; attention to detail and independent thinking about “what constitutes good data".

Preferred Qualification(s) - Internship or project experience in data quality, content moderation, compliance, content operations, AI data/annotation, or related areas. - Extensive experience using mainstream large-model products such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Doubao.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
