The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Executive – TOLA based in the United States

We are seeking an experienced, strategic sales professional to drive enterprise growth across the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas (TOLA) region. In this role, you will develop new business opportunities, expand customer relationships, and guide complex SaaS sales from initial prospecting through deal closure. You will engage senior IT and security stakeholders, helping organizations unlock the value of secure workflow automation and integrations across their technology ecosystems. Working closely with business development, marketing, technical sales, and channel partners, you will build a strong regional growth strategy and establish lasting customer relationships. This is an opportunity to shape an important territory within a scaling technology environment where initiative, curiosity, and execution are highly valued.

Accountabilities

  • Build market awareness and generate demand for workflow automation solutions across the TOLA territory, helping prospective and existing customers understand their potential business value.
  • Clearly communicate the platform’s capabilities, technical strengths, and business benefits to stakeholders across IT, security, engineering, and related functions.
  • Manage multiple opportunities throughout the sales cycle, navigating complex enterprise sales processes and securing new customer agreements.
  • Develop productive relationships with regional technology alliances, reseller partners, and channel organizations to identify, qualify, and advance opportunities.
  • Proactively prospect for new customers while nurturing inbound leads and collaborating with a dedicated Business Development Representative.
  • Identify new customer use cases and business opportunities in partnership with marketing, channel partnerships, and other internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Sales Engineering throughout discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and deal progression.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Customer Success, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Create and execute a territory business plan that leverages customer relationships, partner networks, and regional communities to drive sustainable growth.
  • Work with sales leadership to develop repeatable strategies for new customer acquisition and consistently achieve quarterly targets.
  • Share customer and prospect feedback with product and go-to-market teams to help inform platform improvements and commercial strategy.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to simplicity, speed, sound judgment, continuous learning, and effective collaboration.
  • At least 7 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, with a demonstrated history of achieving sales targets.
  • Proven success selling to strategic or enterprise customers within the TOLA region.
  • Experience selling technical SaaS solutions to senior technical decision-makers, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Engineering, DevOps leaders, and IT executives.
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills, with the ability to create demand, develop new opportunities, and effectively manage inbound leads.
  • Established working relationships with relevant IT channel partners and technology alliance organizations in the TOLA region.
  • Experience developing new territories or geographic markets from the ground up, generating demand, and building a qualified sales pipeline.
  • A consistent record of meeting or exceeding quarterly sales goals, performance metrics, and business objectives.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and coordinate internal resources to advance complex opportunities.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and strategic account planning skills.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and a willingness to seek feedback, learn from setbacks, challenge established approaches, and continuously improve.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a growing technology business where individual initiative can make a meaningful impact.
  • Must be based in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, Texas, and able to attend in-person meetings and events in the region regularly.
  • Annual on-target compensation: $340,000, including base salary and commission.
  • Equity: Additional equity compensation is offered.
  • Remote work: Remote position for candidates based in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, Texas, with regular in-person regional meetings and events.
  • Growth and development: The opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a scaling technology environment that values curiosity, learning, and professional growth.
  • Collaborative environment: Work cross-functionally with sales, technical, marketing, customer success, and partner teams.
  • Inclusive workplace: A commitment to equal employment opportunities and a range of experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
