Role Overview
As a Senior Social Commerce Specialist, you will independently manage complex Social Commerce-related operational and account-execution workstreams. You will ensure client shops are healthy, conversion-ready, and operationally sound while contributing to reporting, issue resolution, merchandising, creator readiness, and client-delivery execution.
You will serve as a reliable subject matter resource for Social Merchandising Specialists and a key partner to Account Strategists and Creator & Affiliate Strategists. This role is for someone who can independently solve problems, connect operational details to commerce outcomes, and contribute clear recommendations within an assigned client scope.
Key Responsibilities
Client-Centric
- Independently manage complex shop operations, catalog, promotion, compliance, fulfillment, and account-health workstreams.
- Support client-ready explanations of operational issues, performance risks, and recommended next steps.
- Partner with Creator & Affiliate teams to use creator performance to influence investment decisions and paid media strategy.
- Advise internal partners on the operational implications of promotional calendars, product availability, bundling, fulfillment constraints, and shop setup decisions.
- Escalate high-risk issues with a clear diagnosis, client impact, and recommended resolution path.
Product-Led
- Demonstrate strong fluency in TikTok Shop Seller Center and relevant marketplace, catalog, affiliate, and workflow tools.
- Improve internal documentation, operating checklists, and issue-resolution workflows based on recurring issues and platform changes.
- Support adoption of relevant TikTok Shop capabilities and promotional opportunities across assigned accounts.
Data & Measurement-Driven
- Analyze shop-health, catalog, fulfillment, conversion, and promotion data to identify actionable issues and opportunities.
- Translate operational findings into clear recommendations for Account, Creator & Affiliate, Paid Media, and client teams.
- Support reporting across GMV, conversion, creator-traffic readiness, promotions, and commerce operations.
The Tinuiti Way
- Work cross-functionally with Creator & Affiliate, Paid Media, Client Partnership, and client fulfillment teams to improve the end-to-end customer and creator journey.
- Stay current on platform ad offerings, policy changes, social-commerce behavior, and platform best practices.
- Informally guide Social CommerceSpecialists through knowledge sharing, quality review, and problem-solving support.
Owner Mindset
- Own complex operational issues from diagnosis through resolution.
- Identify risks to conversion, account health, fulfillment, or creator readiness before they affect client outcomes.
- Create reusable operating methods, issue logs, checklists, and handoff practices within assigned scope.
Professional & Technical Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace operations, social commerce, digital merchandising, account operations, or related work.
- Direct hands-on TikTok Shop experience required, including independent management of meaningful shop or account-execution workstreams.
- Experience with Whatnot and Retail Media Network social offerings preferred.
- Experience with listing optimization, catalog structure, bundles, promotions, account health, fulfillment, compliance, and performance troubleshooting.
- Strong commerce and operational judgment.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
