The posting

Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village,19800 SW Touchmark Way, an award-winning senior living resort community spanning 25 acres along the Deschutes River on Bend's westside, is looking for a professional, high-energy Part-time Weekend Bartender and Pub Server with excellent communication skills to serve cocktails and food to residents.

Starting wage $19.79 per hour or more, depending on experience (no gratuities as this is a position in a private senior resort) Must be available Saturday and Sunday and available for other various shifts

The Bartender/Pub Server will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. To succeed as a Bartender and Pub Server at Touchmark, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable and have a desire to serve and assist others with genuine hospitality. Bartender Responsibilities:

Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders. Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Acting as the community barista Serving tables in the pub through lunch and dinner service Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials. Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers. Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.

Bartender Requirements:

OLCC  and Food Handler Permit Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required. Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance. Basic math and computer skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong task and time management abilities. Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques. Must be 21+
