The posting

Touchmark at Harwood Groves is Fargo’s leading full-service retirement community-assisted living, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking a compassionate person to join our talented team as a Health Services Coordinator - Scheduler. This person will be responsible for creating the Health Services schedule, handling any/all schedule issues for our Health Services team including but not limited to call-ins and finding replacements for shift coverage. This person will attend scheduled in-services and staff meetings and assist with recruiting new Health Services team members (i.e. Caregivers, Medication Aides, and Certified Nursing Assistants).   Monday – Friday  8:00am – 5:00pm Rotating on call, weekends, some evening & night hours as needed. The ideal candidate will:

Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Possess strong critical thinking skills Be able to work in a busy environment, with frequent changes and interruptions Have the ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing, deadlines and work under pressure Have prior administrative experience is preferred Possess excellent computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and Outlook Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification or provide current certification Med Aide experience not required, but encouraged Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
