The role drives equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, technical standards, improvement projects, and engineering capability across the site.

What you'll be responsible for

Analyze equipment failures and recurring breakdowns and lead root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions. Improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintenance effectiveness. Support development of asset criticality, maintenance strategies, and equipment lifecycle plans. Monitor engineering KPIs and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Central Engineering Support: Provide technical support to production and engineering teams on complex equipment and infrastructure issues. Establish and maintain engineering standards, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation. Coordinate technical activities across mechanical, electrical, utilities, refrigeration, and infrastructure disciplines. Support troubleshooting of major or repetitive technical problems.
  • Utilities & Infrastructure: Support reliable operation and optimization of factory utilities and infrastructure. Identify energy, water, and utility-efficiency improvement opportunities. Support capacity assessment and future infrastructure requirements based on factory demand.
  • Projects & CAPEX: Develop technical scopes, specifications, cost estimates, and engineering solutions for improvement and CAPEX projects. Participate in vendor evaluation, technical bid assessment, design review, installation, commissioning, and handover. Ensure new equipment and projects meet applicable engineering, safety, quality, and operational requirements.
  • Safety, Quality & Compliance: Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable HSE, GMP, food safety, and statutory requirements. Support engineering risk assessments and closure of audit/non-conformity actions. Ensure appropriate engineering change control and technical risk management. Promote safe engineering practices for maintenance, projects, contractors, and modifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to reduce breakdowns, maintenance cost, energy consumption, and operational losses. Apply structured problem-solving and reliability improvement methodologies. Standardize engineering best practices across different factory areas.
  • Contractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, suppliers, and technical service providers. Review technical proposals and ensure compliance with site specifications. Monitor quality and technical performance of contracted engineering work.
  • Engineering Capability Building: Provide technical coaching and guidance to engineers, supervisors, and maintenance teams. Develop troubleshooting capability and promote knowledge sharing. Support development of technical SOPs, maintenance standards, and training materials.

We're looking for someone who

  • Has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Preferably 5–8 years of engineering/maintenance experience in FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, or process manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and reliability engineering, industrial utilities, projects, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Experience with RCA, preventive/predictive maintenance, CAPEX execution, and contractor management.
  • Working knowledge of HSE, GMP, and engineering compliance requirements.

What you'll get

Alongside meaningful work and strong development, we offer a reward package that typically includes

  • Market-competitive pay and performance related rewards

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
