Transportation Driver – Adult Day Care ⚠️ REQUIRED TO APPLY: Applicants must be bilingual in English and Cape Verdean Creole and have held a full, valid Massachusetts driver’s license for at least two (2) years. 📍 Location: Brockton Adult Day Center🏢 Address: 764 N. Main St, Brockton, MA 02301💰 Wage: $18.00/hour🕐 Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday | Day shift No evenings. No on-call shifts! Join our Adult Day Health Program as a Transportation Driver/ Program Assisting. Transport participants and assist with center activities, meals, and supervision between routes. Support toileting, kitchen duties, and receiving/putting away merchandise as needed. Some lifting required; this is a versatile role with a variety of responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Cape Verdean Creole required Must be at least 21 years old High school diploma or equivalent Full, valid Massachusetts driver’s license held for at least two years Valid vehicle registration and insurance 2 years of experience driving a 14-passenger van/bus or providing passenger transportation Must pass required background check and drug screening prior to hire Compassionate, dependable, and a strong communicator

Safely transport older adults and individuals with rehabilitation needs, dementia, or intellectual and developmental disabilities between their homes, the day center, appointments, and community programs Assist passengers with boarding, securing, and exiting the vehicle Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance or service needs Support day program staff with participant care, activities, meals, and general assistance
