We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team and support accounts payable operations across our international business. This role offers an opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a multinational environment while ensuring accurate invoice processing and timely vendor payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices in the accounting system.
  • Match invoices against purchase orders, goods received, and supporting documents.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, accrual issues, and missing documentation.
  • Process vendor payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate invoice, payment, and supporting documentation records.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding or overdue invoices.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and coordinate with internal departments to resolve payment issues.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to meet contractual obligations and agreed service standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in invoice processing.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies independently.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
