General Service / Maintenance Technician

Pay: $33,000–$48,000+ per year, based on experience and performance

Tom Gill Buick GMC is looking for a General Service / Maintenance Technician to join our growing Service Department in Hamilton.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, takes pride in their work, and wants to continue developing their skills. Whether you are an experienced general service technician or looking to take the next step in your automotive career, we want to talk with you.

What You'll Do

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, inspections and basic maintenance
  • Perform battery, filter and other general repairs
  • Perform General Fluid changes as Coolant, Transmission, Brake etc.
  • Complete multi-point inspections and document vehicle conditions
  • Assist with diagnostic and repair work as your skill level develops
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
  • Provide quality workmanship and a great experience for our customers
  • Continue developing your skills through training and hands-on experience

What We're Looking For

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Reliable, dependable and willing to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license
