Receiving Specialist   Tommy’s is looking for a Receiving team member to accurately receive deliveries, pick orders, pack orders, and ship orders, following all required procedures and safety regulations in a fast-paced environment. What can Tommy's offer you?

  Position Responsibilities:

Heavy Emphasis on Receiving LTL, FTL, and customer returns shipments. Parcel receiving when LTL, FTL, and RMAs are complete. Communication and coordination with Purchasing on packing slip discrepancies. Communication and coordination on inbound shipments with Logistics Coordination Lead and Production Lead. Consolidating current pallet racking/bins to free space for inbound equipment. Banding/Palletizing/Shrink Wrapping as needed for packaging inbound equipment. Working with pick/pack/ship team on item receipts tied to sales orders. Warehouse Organization- Identify the need for new storage methods, space allocation based on stock levels- implement a plan to meet the need with warehouse team Assembly of carwash equipment as needed. If shipping and receiving scope of work is complete, assist warehouse with anything that is needed Responsible for the accurate receipt of RMA’s while working closely with RMA/RGA specialist to handle any RMA and RGA’s. 80% Hilo use of inbound freight shipments. Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

  Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:

High school diploma or GED. Computer proficiency- Microsoft Office, Excel, Bill of Lading’s Inventory control systems experience is a plus Neat and organized in stocking product and processing documentation 1 Year Forklift experience required, TCWS will test and certify Physical requirements: must be able to stand for 8 hours per day, lift up to 75 lbs. Walk quickly working with urgency and accuracy when stocking product Self-motivated, critical thinker Material handling experience Enjoy fast-paced environment 1 Year Forklift experience required Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to exercise good judgment and make sound data-backed decisions High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Views customer care as high priority; exhibits a positive can-do attitude Displays a strong initiative and drive to identify gaps and fill them

  Work Environment and Physical Demands: This job operates in a warehouse environment. The standard days of operation for the warehouse are Monday–Friday, with core operating hours of 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shift length, start, and end time can vary, but typically averages 8-9 hours per day. Occasional extended shifts and periodic weekend work may be required based on business needs. Schedules are established in coordination with your supervisor, balancing your availability with team and operational needs. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse / assembly tools and functions. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:

Work and commute in all weather conditions Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers Work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking Frequently stand and move about inside fast-paced warehouse environment Frequently stand and walk for the majority of each shift Work with heavy and technical equipment, lift 50 - 70 lbs, go up heights on ladder Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times Drive between company locations and/or vendors or suppliers as needed while on job
