You as part of tonies:

The Global Strategy Team sits at the core of tonies’ continuing growth story, and is responsible for the overall strategic development of tonies. This includes identifying strategic areas of action based on analyses of the external market and competitive environment and internal performance, defining and continuously developing our strategic roadmap, and ensuring the implementation of our strategic priorities in close collaboration with top management and their teams.

Becoming a Senior Strategy Manager at tonies is a unique opportunity to work on the big questions we are facing, as we continue to grow fast. You will actively drive the strategic development of tonies and lead crucial projects for the company. You will report to the Global Head of Strategy and work closely with tonies’ Management Board and Senior Leadership (e.g., ex-MBB, ex-Amazon, ex-Netflix).

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • You lead complex strategic projects E2E, partnering with project teams and senior stakeholders across the business (incl. C-level) to get from idea to implementation.
  • You help shape our long-term strategic roadmap and track whether it's working.
  • You dig into our market, competitors, and business performance to figure out what we should do next, then help make it happen with the teams involved.
  • You support senior leadership and the management board directly (e.g., preparing decision papers, board-level discussions), and acting as a trusted point of contact for board office topics.
  • You're a sounding board for your teammates and help shape how the team itself works and grows.
  • This role requires the willingness and ability to work from our Düsseldorf office 3-days on-site

What we are looking for:

  • Your experience: You bring 3+ years of experience from top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, or a fast-growing start-up/scale-up, with a track record of driving complex strategic projects E2E
  • Your skills: You think in structures and numbers: strong analytical rigor, sharp problem-solving instincts, and the assertiveness to challenge the status quo and push ideas through. You feel equally equipped to challenge a business plan from CFO stakeholders, as you are discussing a product concept with our CPO organization, or a G2M Approach with our CRO leadership.
  • Your drive: You're curious by nature; industry background in consumer goods, retail, tech, or e-commerce is a bonus, not a requirement; what we care about is how fast you learn, your motivation to drive things forward, and the energy you bring to get there.
  • Your toolkit: You communicate fluently in German and English, and thrive in interdisciplinary, international teams. You're fluent in PowerPoint and Excel, and comfortable turning complexity into a clear story.
  • Your passion: You're genuinely excited about tonies, our products, and our mission, and want to help shape a company on its way to become a Global Icon.
