The posting

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.

Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We are on a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 120 million registered users and 180,000 active partners across 20 countries, have together already saved over 500 million meals from going to waste

In 2023, Too Good To Go was recognised on Fortune's acclaimed 'Change the World' list, named as one of Deloitte's 'Best Managed Companies' and won a coveted 'Cultural Impact Award' at the annual Apple App Store Awards.

As the Logistics Systems & Implementation Analyst, you are the hands-on bridge between our physical logistics operation and the systems that run it. You take projects from requirements through to go-live: defining how IMS and all other internal tools (those used by Logistics, or using Logistics data) should work to build efficiency, building the automations that remove manual bottlenecks, and making sure new markets and business models land cleanly and consistently. You report directly to the Operational Excellence Senior Manager and work in close alignment with the Head of European Logistics, Tech/Product and Data & Analytics.

Responsibilities

Project delivery & next-gen implementation

- Lead and own the technical delivery of logistics projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering through to go-live and adoption— ensuring consistency and standardisation across markets

- Support the LOT (Logistics Operations Tools) Product & Tech team with the technical rollout of new business models (e.g. Basket 1.5, Basket 2.0 / pick-to-order), taking the lead specifically on Logistics Tools, and ensuring the IMS is optimised for multi-market scalability and efficiency.

- Support and train local logistics teams through the implementation and the documentation of new logistics tools and features, so changes stick after go-live.

Automation & AI integration

- Identify and implement AI-native and automation solutions that replace the manual and repetitive tasks

- Define use cases, prototype solutions, and own the technical implementation once a tool is commercially contracted.

- Build and run no-code/low-code automations (e.g. Google Apps Script, Looker calculated fields) without needing Tech support for everyday tasks.

Integration architecture & technical standards

- Act as the primary technical interface with LOT Product & Tech teams on system integration, architecture and IMS/Internal tools configuration, (covering how 3PL data flows from the backend to M3, Inbound Slot Booking, Ninja, Google Sheets/Tools, Looker, Looker Studio etc.

- Collaborate with the LOT Product & Tech teams to help define what TGTG's systems need to expose and what the minimum viable API standard looks like for any partner integration, setting the technical bar vendors must meet.

- Translate technical integration requirements into clear specifications that feed the vendor selection process; once a vendor is contracted, support the LOT Product & Tech teams with the technical integration end-to-end.

- Conduct API integration testing with internal systems and teams, and document and highlight the impact on ways of working for Logistics Operations together with the Process Analyst.

Process engineering & continuous improvement

- Design and maintain standardised, automated frameworks for all markets, moving from startup-style reactivity to disciplined, centralised execution.

- Apply Lean methodology to map value streams, identify waste, and build the automation that removes it.

- Draft and refine SOPs for new systems and workflows, keeping documentation current as tools evolve.

- Adapt to changing business requirements and project scopes as the business evolves.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in a project-focused role, delivering process and system rollouts end-to-end and training teams through change.

- Proven experience defining data and integration requirements and collaborating with Tech/Data teams on system implementation

- Working knowledge of API integrations between inventory/warehouse systems and external partners, plus a practical understanding of automation tooling and AI implementations.

- Hands-on ability with automation and scripting, e.g. Google Apps Script, SQL, or Python, enough to prototype and build, not only to specify.

- Proven ability to lead conversations (strategic/visionary and operational) and present technical recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including senior logistics leadership.

- Translator between worlds, you move comfortably between technical and operational language, and can explain an integration to a warehouse lead and to an engineer in the same meeting.

- Strong project management, proficiency in cross-functional stakeholder management, Asana, RASCI and project charters, with the ability to switch between smaller and larger-scope projects at once.

- Data fluency, able to build ROI-based business cases and quantify the value of eliminating manual processes.

- Lean / Kaizen mindset, you spot automation opportunities through a Lean lens, not just a technology lens.

- Excellent communicator, you know when to speak and when to listen, and you are skilled at leading conversations and presenting at all levels.

- The right balance between keeping things simple and raising the bar, an affinity for technical solutions is a strong advantage.

- Experience in a logistics and/or FMCG setting is highly beneficial where you’ve worked with 3PLs, Carriers, SAAS vendors

- A passion for the mission and for raising awareness of food waste and sustainability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
