About Topsort

Topsort is a global Commerce AI company making advanced advertising and AI-powered technology accessible to businesses of all sizes.

Our technology helps retailers and marketplaces grow through smarter advertising, real-time auctions, and intelligent product discovery. With a presence in 40+ countries and a growing international team, we're building the technology behind the next generation of commerce.

What Is This Role Like?

We're hiring a Paralegal to help keep Topsort’s legal operations running smoothly, with accuracy, responsiveness, and sound judgment as we grow internationally.

You'll work closely with our attorney to support commercial contracting, compliance, and corporate matters, improve legal workflows, and independently manage routine requests within approved guidelines.

What You'll Own

  • Commercial Contracts: Review incoming contracts, flag deviations for attorney review, and prepare routine agreements using approved templates. Manage standard NDAs and coordinate contracts through signature.
  • Business Support: Coordinate responses to customer questionnaires, RFPs, and vendor onboarding with relevant teams, and develop resources for common legal questions.
  • Legal Operations: Manage legal intake, contract records, templates, and playbooks. Use approved tools, AI, and automation where appropriate to improve workflows while protecting confidential information.
  • Compliance & Research: Track legal and compliance deadlines, prepare policy drafts for attorney review, and summarize relevant legal and regulatory developments.
  • Corporate Coordination: Support international entity management, notarization and apostille processes, and outside counsel coordination, including invoices and legal spend.
  • Continuity & Escalation: Keep routine requests and pending matters moving during attorney absences, working within approved guidelines and escalating issues that require legal judgment.

What Success Looks Like

  • Reliable Contract Execution: Routine agreements move efficiently from intake to signature, with complete information, accurate documentation, and deviations surfaced before execution.
  • Deadline & Record Accuracy: Renewals, filings, and compliance obligations are visible and tracked, with timely follow-up and accessible, up-to-date records.
  • Efficient Legal Support: Requests have clear priorities, owners, and next steps. Templates, playbooks, and self-serve resources help teams resolve common needs and reduce repetitive work.
  • Sound Judgment & Continuity: Routine matters progress within approved boundaries, issues requiring attorney review are escalated with useful context, and pending work remains organized during absences.

What You'll Bring

Don't check every box? We'd still love to hear from you. We value curiosity, strong judgment, and people who take ownership of results:

  • Relevant Experience: 2+ years of paralegal experience, ideally in-house or in commercial or corporate law.
  • Paralegal Education: A paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-approved program..
  • Commercial Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with common contract terms and experience reviewing and preparing documents using templates and established guidelines.
  • Tools & Systems: Experience with e-signature platforms such as DocuSign and contract or matter management tools, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Organization & Accuracy: The ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines while catching missing information, inconsistencies, and document errors.
  • Judgment & Discretion: Confidence handling routine matters independently, recognizing when to escalate, and protecting sensitive company, commercial, and employee information.
  • Communication & Ownership: Clear, concise writing, professional stakeholder communication, proactive follow-through, and the ability to learn new processes quickly.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience in technology or SaaS companies.
  • Strong written and spoken Spanish, particularly for reviewing documents and communicating with colleagues, counterparties, and outside counsel.
  • Familiarity with international corporate matters, notarization, and apostille processes.

Who Thrives Here

We set a high bar because the work we do matter. You'll thrive here if you:

  • Ownership & Quality: You take responsibility for what you build, write production-ready code, and leave systems better than you found them.
  • Judgment & Decision-Making: You make thoughtful decisions, communicate trade-offs openly, and balance speed with quality and long-term impact.
  • Collaboration & Communication: You share knowledge, communicate openly, and work effectively across teams to solve complex challenges.
  • Curiosity & Attention to Detail: You care about the details, continuously improve your skills, and explore new technologies with a critical mindset.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and to foster a workplace where diversity is valued and celebrated. We respect and value any race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, caste, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic information, marital status, or military service.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
