Our company designs and manufactures turf maintenance equipment; turf irrigation systems; landscape and lighting products; snow and ice management solutions; agricultural irrigation systems; rental, specialty and underground construction equipment; and residential turf and snow equipment. We market and sell TTC products worldwide through a network of distributors, dealers, mass retailers, hardware retailers, equipment rental center and home centers, as well as online direct to end users.

The Residential Landscape Contractor Parts team supports the growth of Toro parts and accessories through our dealer and distributor network. Working across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, IT and other functions, our team connects business insights, programs and resources to help our teams and channel partners grow the Parts business.

What Will You Do?

Join the Residential Landscape Contractor Parts team and gain hands-on experience supporting business growth through data analysis, sales collaboration and process improvement. You’ll own a meaningful summer project while helping develop practical solutions that improve how our teams work and support Parts growth.

  • Own a defined summer project focused on improving a Parts business process, tool, reporting need or growth opportunity from discovery through implementation.
  • Organize and consolidate dealer, sales, program and performance information into resources that are easier for teams to access and use.
  • Document key data sources, reporting tools, systems and workflows to identify gaps, duplication and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze Parts and dealer performance to identify trends, sales opportunities, category gaps and areas requiring additional focus.
  • Translate business and dealer insights into practical marketing resources, dealer communications, sales tools or program support materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, IT, Finance, Operations and field teams to understand business needs, improve coordination and develop practical solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings, working sessions and field or channel discussions to gain a broader understanding of Toro’s business and dealer network.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback, test potential improvements and create documentation that supports continued use after the internship.
  • Present project progress, findings, outcomes and recommendations to business leaders.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Analytics or a related field; candidates must plan to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the internship.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in understanding how business functions, systems and processes work together.
  • Ability to organize complex or loosely defined problems, identify opportunities and develop practical recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, data visualization, SharePoint or similar business tools is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different functions and levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to ask questions, learn unfamiliar systems and understand how work gets done.
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to engage others for information, feedback or support.
  • Interest in sales, marketing, business operations, process improvement, data analysis or dealer/distributor networks is a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
