Join our Team as an Accountant – National Accounts and Energy Storage Solutions!

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support our National Accounts and Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) departments. The ideal candidate is someone who sees beyond the numbers and understands the bigger picture they help tell. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting two dynamic areas of our business, bringing financial insight, analytical thinking, and a problem-solving mindset to everything from month-end close and inventory accounting to financial reporting and process improvement. You will uncover opportunities to strengthen financial operations and help turn complex financial information into meaningful business insights. Your expertise will do more than support accurate financial reporting—it will help shape smarter processes, stronger partnerships, and better business decisions. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own and drive month-end closing activities, including journal entries and general ledger accuracy.
  • Lead the inventory financial process: standard costing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze revenue and expense reports to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and treasury teams to ensure financial alignment.
  • Support internal and external audits, forecasting, and ad-hoc projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 3 + years of multi-faceted accounting and business related experience.
  • Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional environments.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA).
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Prior experience using SAP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Flexible and dependable in a fast-paced, evolving business landscape.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with experience resolving issues related to inventory, invoicing, and general accounting.

Where and When You’ll Work:

  • Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule—collaborate in person Monday through Wednesday at our Greene, NY office and work remotely Thursday/Friday upon completion of training.
  • Typical first shift hours of 8AM to 5PM

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
