Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Engineer!

The Role: We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment or products. Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of such equipment. You will collaborate with leaders across departments to assist and shape the strategic direction of the organization. You’ll bring forward-thinking ideas, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a commitment to excellence, all while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Investigate, procure, integrate, and install new equipment to increase production technology and automate processes in Fabrication, Assembly, and Material Handling
  • Implement new technology and review existing processes to increase safety and production efficiency.
  • Study process layout and improve material flow
  • Proactively identify and improve issues before problems occur
  • Provide daily support to Manufacturing and Maintenance to resolve process issues

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Strong technical experience with troubleshooting capability
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (Creo experience preferred)
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening

Where and When You’ll Work:

  • This position is based on-site at our East Chicago, IN, location, where you’ll collaborate closely with your team in a dynamic workplace.
  • Typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional weekends
