New York City - FiDi, in person $100,000–$120,000 OTE Meaningful Series A equity

About Trayd

Trayd is solving the oldest problem in America: how do we build physical infrastructure that lasts generations? We’re replacing manual processes and legacy systems with AI-native software built around how construction actually runs. Companies using our software have built some of America’s greatest infrastructure projects like the Buffalo Bills’ Highmark Stadium and JFK International Airport.

We're building the category-defining back office for trade contractors with a platform that runs live payroll, job costing, and accounting workflows every week for the hardest-working people in the country. We grew 600% over the last year with a lean team of ~30, made up of some of the sharpest and most driven talent in New York.

We were in Y Combinator’s Summer 2023 batch and have raised over $15 million from Tier 1 investors. We’re proudly and permanently based in NYC. We’re in the next phase of growth, and every hire here directly shapes what customers see next.

Role Overview

We are hiring an Implementations Specialist to launch new customers onto Trayd.

You will own customer implementations from sales handoff through first live payroll: gathering and migrating data, running kickoff calls, configuring accounts, training customers, and supporting launch. You will be the customer's primary point of contact throughout - this is a customer-facing role, not a back-office data role.

Implementations are where customers hand us their data, their workflows, and their trust. The work demands precision, proactive communication, and comfort with messy, real-world data. You'll follow a proven playbook, and as you master it, you'll help make it better.

You will have the autonomy to tackle hard problems from end to end, make decisions that shape the trajectory of the company, and see the impact of your work firsthand. You will help build the foundation for Trayd’s growth beyond Series A, with massive room for your own growth throughout the organization as we scale together.

What You'll Do

Own customer implementations end to end, from kickoff and data migration through first live payroll and handoff to Customer Success. Serve as the primary customer contact during onboarding, understanding existing payroll workflows, configuring Trayd, and providing platform training. Manage and QA migration of employee, compensation, and payroll data from legacy systems with a high degree of accuracy. Manage multiple implementations against launch timelines while identifying product or process gaps and improving the implementation playbook.

Who You Are

1–4 years of experience in implementations, onboarding, customer success, consulting, or operations, ideally in SaaS or technology-enabled services. Strong customer-facing and communication skills, with confidence working directly with construction business owners and operators. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data validation) and a high degree of ownership, accuracy, and follow-through. Comfortable operating in ambiguity, eager to learn the construction industry, and NYC-based or willing to relocate.

What We Need

You’re driven to accomplish something meaningful, operate with speed and intensity, and won’t let setbacks get in the way of achieving success. You’re resourceful and adaptable, finding a way forward when the path isn’t clear, learning quickly from failure, and enjoying the challenge of figuring things out. You’ve excelled in a challenging and fast-paced environment, and have a track record of setting high standards for yourself, whether that’s in sales, consulting, finance, athletics, startups, or somewhere else entirely.

Nice To Have

Prior implementations or onboarding experience, ideally with payroll, financial, ERP, or compliance-heavy software. Experience in startup or high-growth environments, with construction or manufacturing exposure a plus. Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools.

Working style

This is an in-person role in New York City, five days a week. We move quickly, collaborate constantly, and value people who take initiative and ownership.

If you want to own high-impact customer work and grow with a category-defining company, you will fit here.

Compensation/Benefits

Base Salary $70,000–$90,000 + $18,000–$30,000 performance-based variable compensation Meaningful Series A equity Benefits Healthcare: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options for employees and dependents Unlimited/Flexible PTO 401(k) Retirement Plan Free lunch (Mon–Wed) and dinner (Mon–Thu after 7:30pm) for in-office roles

The posted range represents the typical compensation range for this role. To determine actual compensation we review the market rate of each candidate which can include a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, interview performance, and location.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
