The posting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market & Industry Intelligence

  • Conduct structured research on developments affecting TRD’s Counter-UAS market across defence, aviation, security, critical infrastructure and government-related sectors, covering emerging use cases, buying considerations and regional demand signals.
  • Use Google Trends to compare search interest across relevant countries and periods for Counter-UAS, drone detection, anti-drone security and related technology topics, identifying changes in market attention and regional interest.
  • Use Typeform to conduct targeted digital market surveys with relevant industry respondents to validate market needs, solution-selection factors, information priorities and changing sector expectations.

Digital Competitor Intelligence

  • Use Similarweb to benchmark selected competitors’ website traffic, audience geography, engagement indicators, traffic sources and digital channel mix to understand how competing technology providers are building online visibility. Similarweb’s free traffic checker supports competitor traffic and engagement analysis.
  • Review competitor websites, solution positioning, digital content themes, target sectors, public deployment references and online messaging to maintain structured competitor profiles relevant to TRD’s market position.
  • Compare findings from Similarweb and Google Trends to identify competitor visibility patterns, emerging digital interest and areas where TRD may be underrepresented in relevant market conversations.

Search Demand & Digital Market Discovery

  • Use Google Search Console to review the search queries, impressions, clicks and geographic patterns bringing users to TRD’s digital content, helping identify what prospective audiences are actively searching for. Search Console is a free Google service designed to monitor search performance and support marketing analysis.
  • Compare Google Search Console findings with Google Trends to distinguish TRD-specific search activity from broader market interest and identify recurring themes, solution topics and emerging demand areas.
  • Translate search-demand findings into market intelligence recommendations on which industry topics, solution areas, regional markets or audience information needs should be investigated further by Management and the relevant Business function.

Audience Behaviour & Digital Market Signals

  • Use Microsoft Clarity to review heatmaps, session recordings, click behaviour and scroll patterns on selected TRD webpages to understand how visitors engage with product and solution information. Clarity is offered free and supports heatmaps and session recordings.
  • Analyse Microsoft Clarity findings to identify recurring audience behaviour such as heavily viewed solution information, overlooked content, common navigation paths and drop-off points that may indicate gaps in market understanding or digital communication.
  • Use Typeform to validate behavioural observations through short digital research studies covering audience priorities, solution understanding, information gaps and factors influencing interest in TRD’s technology offerings.

Market Segmentation & Opportunity Evaluation

  • Develop external market profiles covering target sectors, customer types, geographic markets, common operational concerns, relevant regulatory or industry developments and typical solution requirements for TRD’s Counter-UAS offerings.
  • Use findings from Google Trends, Similarweb, Google Search Console and Typeform to compare target-market attractiveness based on digital demand, competitor visibility, audience interest and sector relevance.
  • Prepare structured market opportunity assessments identifying priority sectors, emerging use cases, competitor activity, market gaps and areas requiring further commercial evaluation, without taking ownership of lead generation or sales follow-up.

Digital Marketing Intelligence & Strategic Insight

  • Combine intelligence from Similarweb, Google Trends, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity and Typeform to build an evidence-based view of external market demand, digital audience behaviour, competitor presence and information needs.
  • Prepare recurring market intelligence briefs for Management covering digital market trends, competitor developments, audience behaviour, sector movements and potential implications for TRD’s digital positioning and regional growth.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to relevant Business and Management stakeholders to support digital marketing positioning, market prioritisation and future market-development decisions, while commercial execution remains with the Business team.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Good analytical and research skills with the ability to review external market, competitor and digital information in a structured manner.
  • Able to identify relevant market developments, sector trends, competitor activities and changing audience interests relating to TRD’s technology solutions.
  • Comfortable interpreting digital search, website engagement and audience-behaviour information to identify meaningful market signals.
  • Strong attention to detail when maintaining competitor profiles, market findings, research records and supporting evidence.
  • Good written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear market intelligence briefs, opportunity assessments and management recommendations.
  • Able to compare different markets, target sectors and audience groups based on demand signals, competitor presence and business relevance.
  • Willing to continuously develop knowledge of Counter-UAS market developments, digital marketing trends, competitor positioning and emerging regional opportunities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
