Ben jij (bijna) gediplomeerd orthoptist, op zoek naar een zelfstandige en uitdagende functie – én heb je oog voor goede patiëntenzorg? Dan zoeken wij jou!

De functie

Goed zien is niet voor iedereen vanzelfsprekend. Bij Treant helpen we dagelijks kinderen en volwassenen met oogproblemen, zoals scheelzien of verminderd zicht. In veel gevallen kunnen we deze klachten succesvol behandelen zonder operatie. Als orthoptist onderzoek je onder andere de oogstand, de samenwerking tussen de ogen, de werking van de oogspieren, de brilsterkte en de ontwikkeling van de gezichtsscherpte. Je signaleert afwijkingen en stelt op basis daarvan een behandeladvies op. Dat kan variëren van het dragen van een bril of het doen van oogspieroefeningen tot een verwijzing voor een strabismusoperatie. Je voert ook controles uit om te beoordelen of de behandeling aanslaat en stelt deze indien nodig bij. Kortom: een zelfstandige en uitdagende functie, met een breed aanbod aan complexe casussen. Daarnaast begeleid je ook stagiaires en artsen in opleiding.

Het team

Je gaat aan de slag in een moderne, goed uitgeruste praktijk, waar je werkt binnen een leuk en gedreven team. We hebben korte lijntjes, werken nauw samen met TOA’s, optometristen, orthoptisten, physician assistants en oogartsen en is er altijd ruimte voor een geintje tussendoor. De sfeer is verder goed en professioneel binnen het team, maar ook ontspannen. Je werkt vooral op onze locatie Refaja in Stadskanaal en op het Scheper in Emmen.

Jij bent de ideale kandidaat

Je bent een enthousiaste en gediplomeerde orthoptist of bijna klaar met je opleiding. Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar weet ook precies wanneer het tijd is om te overleggen met de oogarts. Het opstellen van een behandelplan voor een strabismusoperatie is voor jou bekend terrein, net als myopiebeheersing. Samenwerken met collega’s en andere disciplines gaat je moeiteloos af. Je bent communicatief sterk, volgt de ontwikkelingen binnen je vak en denkt graag mee over hoe we die kunnen toepassen op de afdeling. Ons aanbod

  • Een arbeidsovereenkomst voor onbepaalde tijd
  • Een contract tussen de 24 en 32 uur
  • Een salaris van minimaal € 3.826,- en maximaal € 5.395,- bruto fulltime per maand. (CAO ziekenhuizen FWG 55)
