Role Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Indigenous Engagement and Regulatory Affairs, the Administrative Assistant provides confidential, professional, and highly organized support to the department. The role coordinates correspondence, records, meeting minutes, communications, submissions, and presentations, and is well suited to a detail-oriented individual with strong communication, document management, and Microsoft Office skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Indigenous Engagement and Regulatory Affairs Department with a high degree of organization, coordination, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Support department filing of documents and files.
- Manage tracking and filing of correspondence.
- Compile meeting minute notes.
- Support e-mail communications and submissions.
- Prepare and update presentations as required.
- Other tasks are as required and assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent filing and document management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and pay close attention to detail.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
