Trevor's is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced General Manager to run one of our retail liquor stores. As the General Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store while meeting goals, setting policies, and supervising employees. As the GM, you will have a wide range of responsibilities to keep up with the demands of a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of large retail store
  • Design strategies and set goals for growth
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Set and enforce policies and processes
  • Ensure employee productivity and professionalism
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling of employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and performance
  • An essential function of the job is the ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business including opening/closing shifts weekends and holidays
  • Focus on hospitality while assisting and educating customers on the brand and products
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Resolve employee and customer issues alike

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or experience in a similar role
  • Industry knowledge and retail experience
  • Strong hospitality background
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Knowledge of business process and functions
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Exceptional customer service skills
